ChemCal provides the critical process analysis required prior to quoting any Pfaudler pH or ORP electrode. We use our thirty-five years of process experience, solid chemistry and instrumentation background along with prior customer experience to fully understand the application.

The goal is to identify the reason for the present problems and understand how the Pfaudler technology will lead to improved performance over the conventional measurement. The customer fills out an "Application Data Sheet" that provides the process information needed to begin the analysis.

This analysis begins by discussing the information on the "Application Data Sheet" with the customer. Many questions are asked to fully understand the physical and chemical properties of the process and make a judgment on the possibility of a successful solution.

We discuss our conclusions with the customer and begin to set an expectation level for long term performance. In some cases mounting and piping may need to be changed to protect the probe from physical or chemical damage. We also discuss any procedures required during installation. We also supply the proper wiring diagrams and "Quick Start" sheets to make commissioning successful.

The result of the ChemCal consultation is a successful application of Pfaudler technology and a satisfied customer.
